In 1947, Indonesia and the Netherlands had held the Linggarjati Negotiations. However, a few months later, the Dutch violated the agreement by attacking Java and Sumatra to regain control of Indonesia. This event is known as the Dutch Military Aggression I. A group of cadets from the Air Force pilot school, namely Sigit, Mui, Har, and Adji, had the ambition to participate in defending Indonesia from the Dutch. However, they were still Air Force students, thus they were not allowed to carry planes and weapons. Opposition came from Air Force officials, led by the Air Chief Commodore. In order to carry out their reckless action, the cadets asked for help from air sergeant, Tardjo, and air gunners, Dul and Kapoet. This story is not only about the struggle of Indonesia's independence, but also about a group of young people who face conflicts of friendship.
